「2012 Mega Ice五人冰球賽」昂然進入五周年 |

2012年對「Mega
Ice五人冰球賽」而言具有多重意義，其中包括破紀錄的88
隊參賽隊伍履冰爭勝，令成年組和青少年組的賽程變得更加緊湊，還有多支去年的盟主回歸衛冕，再加上澳洲亦首度越洋參賽，競爭之烈不言而喻。
這個亞洲最大規模的冰球賽將會在4月30至5月5日進行青少年組賽事，而在5月8至12日則是成年組賽事登場。比賽將在全港最大、亦是唯一符合國際標準的Mega
Ice冰球場上演。
「2012
Mega
Ice五人冰球賽」今年首次獲得「香港品牌」認可，以誌過去四年的成功。「香港品牌」的肯定是賽事持續發展的重要動力，亦是吸引本港球迷和外地遊客感受香港活力都市的一大亮點
冰場以外，Mega
Box還會為參賽運動員和球迷準備了多個精采的娛樂活動，如嘉年華、攝影比賽、慈善籌款活動等等，讓市民亦能感受冰球運動樂趣。
在2011年大受歡迎的iPhone程式亦會在2012年繼續推出，讓所有iPhone用戶和冰球愛好者與「Mega
Ice五人冰球賽」保持連線，獲取賽事新聞、成績、排名、賽程和統計等第一手資料。在今天的記者會中，Mega
Ice iPhone程式大使和「Mega
Ice五人冰球賽」吉祥物Bling
Bling親身介紹賽事iPhone程式中的各項功能和內容。「2012
Mega Ice五人冰球賽」iPhone程式已可在iPhone
App store下戴。
此外，在成年組賽事同場加插的「Mega
Shot射球比賽」亦會於今年載譽而歸。參賽者會挑戰擊出亞洲最高速的射球，屆時所有球員和球迷可親身感受真正的冰點極速。
