Mr. Ji Lei, Deputy Manager of the Ticketing Centre of GAGOC attends press conference during 2010 Singapore Youth Olympic Games at Singapore.
After
nearly six years of preparation, the groundwork for the Asian Games
has now been completed and we are in the final stages of preparing
the venues. The general competition schedule has been set, and the
warm-up tournaments are currently being held as scheduled. All the
Guangzhou Asian Games 2010 venues will be completely ready by
September.The 2010 Asian Games has the most number of sports (42 in
total, including 28 Olympic Games event and 14 non-Olympic sports
e.g. dragon boat, golf and rugby), the
larger number of participants (14000 athletes and officials from 45
countries/cities, 6500 technical officials, 10000 media and over 2000
Olympic Council of Asian member) of any Asiad ever.
