About IKA’s Fall Winter
Collection 2011 “Global Sphere”
World leaders and concerned citizens continue to focus on the issues of climate
change and global warming as discussed and debated in the Copenhagen Summit.
This captured IKA’s imagination for her collection and provided fuel for her
creativity. She drew her design inspiration from the beauty of planet earth,
its people and the galaxy beyond.
The past year has been turbulent for world weather patterns. It is time for us
to reach out and embrace our changing planet, doing our part to save it from
continuing destruction. The cold regions are warming, melting the glaciers at a
rapid pace while the hot belts are facing intensified heat. Considering this,
IKA dug deep within herself and drew out three elements for her theme of GLOBAL
SPHERE: Modern Nomad, Nordic Winter and Geo Swirl.

MOISELLE Spring/Summer 2010 “Astonishing
Avenue”
The talk of the town, the renowned Asian
fashion brand MOISELLE was pleased to introduce its new spring/summer 2010
women’s collection, which is considered as the must-have collection of the
season. “Astonishing Avenue” spring/summer women’s collection fashion show was
held on 19th January 2010 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan
Chai.
This year, “Astonishing Avenue” fashion show took all
fashion lovers into a dream journey full of surprises and amazement. Three
evocative, yet unrelated themes blended together to create a collection that
was highly sophisticated and detail led. “The Water World” uses vibrant but
murky colour, together with wavy cuttings, to make ladies feel like floating in
the borderless ocean. “The Dawn” uses stripes, spray and semi-transparent
effect, together with pastel-coloured fabrics to create the fresh and
comfortable ambience unique in the dawn. While the clothes in “The Excursion”
are using lucid prints from our Mother Nature, with very contrasting colour
treatment.
In the night, 15 professional models
presented totally 60 looks. Through special stage design and lighting effects,
every guest was amazed to the surprising dream journey of MOISELLE. The
Creative Director of MOISELLE, Mr. Harris Chan, continues to take the helm in
the new season of MOISELLE comprehensive design and image, leading the brand
into a more diversified one. Mr. Harris Chan emphasized, ‘We continue to pursue
our dream in the new season collection to provide customers and local fashion
an innovative fashion design concept, exploring and displaying a wide range of
potential in order to consolidate the brand position over the international
fashion industry.’
