China's first operational
aircraft carrier Liaoning arrives in Hong Kong for the first time
Friday June 7, 2017 in a display of military might less than a week
after a high-profile visit by president Xi Jinping. The 305
metre-long (1,000 feet) Liaoning, a secondhand Soviet ship built
nearly 30 years ago and commissioned in 2012, arrived in the city at
around 7:30 am. China launched its first domestically built aircraft
carrier in April, but it is not expected to enter service until
around 2020 once it has been fully equipped and armed.

海港城與香港迪士尼樂園再度合作，由2017年7月5日至2017年7月30日將於尖沙咀海港城海運大廈露天廣場展出「Marvel夏日超級英雄」大型主題佈置，當中包括全球首本限定版Marvel漫畫「Iron
Man Experience: Hong Kong Heroes #1」的巨型立體書及六個放大版漫畫，市民可以感受Marvel超級英雄嘅魅力，大家更可在現場與1比1鐵甲奇俠人像模型合照，和再到海運大廈地下中庭的「Marvel夏日超級英雄訓練站」與5個不同的超級英雄拍照及互動。

為了慶祝香港回歸20周年，香港航運界聯誼會、香港中企協運輸行業委員會、香港海員工會、大連海事大學港澳校友會特別邀請大連海事大學實習船「育鯤」輪訪問香港，於2017年6月29日至7月5日期間泊岸海港城海運碼頭，更會於指定日子首次開放給香港市民參觀，讓大家深入了解這艘目前世界上最先進的專用遠洋實習船。
育鯤輪是交通運輸部投資建造的第一艘中國自行開發設計、引進關鍵設備的專用航海教學實習船。「育鯤」輪於2008年正式投入使用，總長116米，闊18米，船舶定員236人
，其中196人為在船上學習的實習生。船舶設備先進，多媒體教室、圖書室、醫務室、健身房等教學和活動場所功能區齊全。
